Council further considered the matter of the defalca-
-tions in the Harbour Department.

They confirmed their previous decision regarding Mr.
With regard to the minute of the 24th. December relative
to Mr. Jones it was decided, after consulting the sub-committee,
that Mr. Jones should be censured. The sub-committee recorded that
they gathered from r. Jones that he wished to retire at the age of 55, and they expressed the opinion that it was desireable that
he should do so.
With reference to the previous resolution regarding the Harbour Master His Excellency informed the Council that he would review such recorded facts as bore in any way upon the question of the competency of Commander Taylor to perform the duties of his
office.
